A few words about J. Springs Watches
The “J” in J.Springs stands for Japan. A “spring” is a font or source, and also a source of power. As the mechanical movement generates power from spring winding, J.Springs fuses function and design, bespeaking a new style of standard watches with playful sprit.
SII Enterprises Ltd (SIEL) started their own brand 'J.Springs' in October 2001. J.Springs is a registered trademark of Seiko Instruments Inc. Japan and the brand has been sold in most of countries all over the world.
J. Springs by Seiko Instruments Group have been producing high quality watches since 1937. All their watch designs are are produced in house, as are the high quality movements. J. Springs are the watch manufacturing subsidiary of Seiko Instruments Inc, one of the worlds best know engineering companies with experience in the watch making business stretching back to 1881.
All watch movements are produced in their ISO9000 and ISO14000 certified production centres. The current range of stainless steel models are SS316L grade; one of the highest levels of corrosion resistance found in any wristwatch.

1987
Seiko Instruments & Electronics Ltd. Officially renamed as Seiko Instruments Inc.
1988
Completed the world's first automated assembling system for multipurpose, small-lot production of watch movements.
1990
Introduced new corporate trademark "[SII LOGO]" for the Seiko instruments, Group.
1992
SEIKO products were selected as the official timekeeping instruments for the Barcelona Olympics.
1994
SEIKO products were selected as the official timekeeping instruments for the Lillehammer Olympics.
1998
SEIKO products were selected as the official timekeeping instruments for the Nagano Olympics.
2001
SII Enterprises Ltd was set up in Hong Kong. |
